Yukon (ユーコン) is a character in the Aozora's Adventure series.

Yukon is a short boy with navy blue eyes and large, thick, and spiky black hair, the bottom rear of it being wrapped into a small ponytail supported by a blue cog-shaped band. Yukon wears a black and navy-blue modernized ninja-esque outfit with large and baggy sleeves and pants with a white belt wrapped around his waist. His shoes are black ninja footwear with blue padding on the platform of the shoes.

Yukon is a boy from northern Canada mysteriously born with cyrokinesis powers that were discovered at a young age. Prior to Yukon's first demonstration of them, his family moved to Japan to escape the coldness of Canada as well as take in the beauty of the Land of the Rising Sun. However, Yukon was uncomfortable with the move, as his body was starting to develop a fondness for very low temperatures, which the area Yukon moved to generally lacked. Days later, Yukon discovered the powers while outside one day, blasting a chunk of ice a small distance away in reaction to being mocked for his short size.

Growing up, Yukon eventually found a small building hidden away in a forest, home to a ninja sensei. Yukon began to take time away from his home to learn how to weaponize the cyrokinesis under the guidance of the sensei, using the ice as a substitute for the traditional ninja weapons. His mobility and dexterity increased greatly as a result, and he mastered a number of different tricks with the cyrokinesis backing him up. After several years, the sensei had taught Yukon everything he knew and allowed Yukon to return to his normal life, taking along with him the ninja outfit he had received. As parting words, Yukon said that he would return one day, stronger than before.

At the age of 14, Yukon ventured into an icy mountain up north during summer to spend some time away form his home. in the sky, one of Aberthol's airships was flying high above the mountain. Curious of the ship, Yukon fired a blast of explosive ice up to the sky adjacent to the ship to get its attention. Aberthol took notice and forced the pilots to lower the ship down to the side of the mountain. Aberthol jumped off the ship and approached Yukon.

The two engaged in small talk- ending with Aberthol making an offer to Yukon to have him become one of the Elites of the Frost Gang. Yukon was interested in the offer, but then told Aberthol to give him some time to prepare- as he was uncertain if by accepting, he would never be able to show himself to his parents and the others he met over the years. Months alter, the time came, and Yukon, telling his parents he would only be taking a vacation with a friend and promising he would return one day, returned to the mountain. Abethol's ship descended to the ground once more, this time joined with Edurizo and Motokazu, and Yukon boarded the ship and took off, receiving a warm welcome by the Frost Gang members on board.

Keeping his promise, Yukon made occasional returns to his family, temporarily disbanding from the Frost Elites so he can spend some time with them, alongside checking up on the sensei that had taught him.

Powers and Abilities[edit]

Despite being the shortest in height of the Frost Elites, Yukon makes up for it with his blistering movement techniques allowing him to cling to walls and ceilings, using the power of his cyrokinesis to remain on a surface for longer than a typical person could.

Yukon fights by blasting targets with ice beams from his hands, throwing shards and other projectiles made of ice, and lobbing large frozen spheres that if touched by any external object, explode into small shards that fly off in all directions. Yukon can also fire the ice onto the ground, causing targets to lose their balance or possibly be immobilized if they or their feet are caught in the blast, and on the ceiling to rain down icicles.
